    It’s working gooood so far however I believe these things are made to break after five years. Get the 5 year warranty but prepare for it to break right after it expires. Very well designed obsolescence. See what I did there ...

    Display is very hard to read. Only a small lite next to the selection that is black print on a black background. The label does not lite up.

    2 issues right off the bat. first there was a really bad odor coming from the inside of the dryer. i called LG, they scheduled a tech to come out and did not show up. they scheduled another tech and he said he didn't know where the smell was coming from. he took the whole thing apart to look for a dead animal and couldn't locate anything. also checked the vents, nothing.. he never reported this issue so when i called again and complained and asked for an exchange, they said no because there were no notes on it..... the second issue was it was rattling very badly, another tech said it was something with the gas line and he fastened some bolts after taking it apart... 2 issues within a few months of owning this unit... it's been a year now and the rattling is coming back. of course it's outside of return period and the warranty ran out. any future repairs will be out of pocket cost while they will be trying to sell you on a protection plan. buy this unit and you will be on beat street. i will be considering other brands moving forward, sorry not sorry LG!

    LG Gas dryer does not heat properly

    Purchased the LG Gas dryer a few weeks ago. Drying a regular load of clothes (normal mode) even with an hour drying time, does not dry and dryer not very hot when opening. Googled, read the documentation and tried numerous options; called LG and spoke with a non-English (difficult to sometimes understand but he tried to be helpful); Told me about the Energy button - press 3 seconds, etc. did all this. Tried washing/drying a regular load on normal - time for over an hour and never got really hot. Had to select one of the other options. I called again - need to call Monday when service is available but if a service person comes to my house and he/she does not find a problem, they will charge me! What! A brand new expensive dryer. I am very unhappy with the dryer and I have spent many hours, yes hours, reading documentation and googling this problem. I expect better service. I will see what happens when I call Monday and if they make me try 15 minutes worth of trying to make it work myself, thank heavens I didn't buy the protection plan. Tried that on another LG product and never again.

    My wife did not like this set it didn't get the clothes clean we EXCHANGED it for top loaders

    Ordered this brand new and it started leaking gas within the unit. All started just after delivery, first few times using it. Making weird noises and then started noticing the smell.. Insane amount of phone calls to Best Buy, LG, AND the Gas Company. Confirmed it was an issue with the dryer’s igniter. They won’t replace it, only repair. LG won’t touch it if it’s stacked so they expect you to unstack it yourself?!?!! Had to fight with Best Buy to come back and unstack it, otherwise they would’ve charged for another installation. Wasted so much time getting this thing to work... Another negative, like many of the other reviews mention, is that the display is not backlit so it’s really hard to see especially if it’s stacked and too high to see anyway. Try another retailer and try another brand entirely!!! Lost all faith in humanity even after this global pandemic..

    The washer is great but the dryer just doesnt dry. You can adjust the dryness level but even at the higest setting closes are still damp. Its got all this great technogy but it just makes me mad that Samsung is so careless about the dryness sensor. Don't get stuck with it. Buy somethibg else. I also want to complain about the ease of use. Its not. They have a fancy looking controll pannel but its a lot of steps to manyally go in and select extra dry every time you start a cycle. Its not like the good old days with a mechanical knob where you set it once and forget it. Also - its expensive. After trying the steam feature a couple times we dobt use it. As for quality - its just a poor quality design.

    does not turn off properly when clothing has long been dried and sometimes turns off even though clothing is still damp. Horrible LG customer service.

    Doesn’t wash very well. I have to soak and hand wash clothes regularly as they come out dirty even after the longest cycles. Panel is not backlit and very annoying.

    Terrible Quality

    Made a horrible thumping sound after 1 month of use and today found a 4 inch shard of the inner drum inside the dryer. The thumping continued after removal of the shard. Terrible quality. To add insult to injury tried calling Geek Squad for the warranty we purchased and was hung up on twice after being on a 15 minute hold. Overall not happy with this purchase at all. Would give no stars if possible.

    Keeps comming up with error codes that are not valid. Old one was more reliable. Whish could got same model.

    This was advertised as a steam dryer. It was delivered to our home where we discovered it did not have the steam option. This resulted in returning to the store, spending 60+ minutes with customer service, ordering another dryer, having this one picked up and the new one delivered.

    Not worth the price! Bought it in Sept 2019 for over $1000 and it stop working January 2024. So disappointed! I would have expected it to last much longer than this!
