Good low-profile dryer

The wifi is finicky and the sensor dry doesn't work great with small loads. Larger loads seem to be better. Overall, it's a good unit, but has a couple issues.

Disappointing, even annoying

They also "play well" together because when they're side by side it's easy to transfer laundry between them. But the "built-in intelligence" in this dryer is none too smart: it invariably thinks a load is "done" when towels, socks and waistbands are still unacceptably damp. Far worse, though, is the insipid "tune" it plays at the end of a cycle, and the fact that it's apparently impossible to silence that feature permanently; it must be done with every load!

A VERY SAD TALE AND AN ANGRY CONSUMER

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It has been a month since I purchased the washer and dryer and it has been sitting in my garage for over two weeks. 3 times, men in third party trucks have come to install and couldn't because parts or kits were not sent with them. A fourth time, a NJ storm prevented Piscataway facility from sending the appliances. I received no call telling me that anything was wrong. One time they were to arrive between 12 and 6pm. They arrived at almost 7--didn't have the parts and told their dispatcher that one man had gotten hurt at the last install and couldn't do mine--a lie!!!!!! Dispatcher thought they were ashamed that they couldn't do the job. Maybe! I went back to the store in Holmdel 3 times to tell them what was happening because your computer system was telling me all incorrect things. They truly tried to help. At one point, I got the missing kits from the store so, I thought, the items could then finally be installed. This last time, Friday, yesterday, they arrived as expected and could not install because the wrong gas line was given to me! It wasn't long enough! My husband went to a plumbing store to buy a longer one. Of course, the men couldn't wait until he returned because they were on a schedule. I was told by Piscataway that I would get a call today to schedule another date to install. In the meantime, your computer system tells me that everything was completed when nothing was!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is ridiculous! Get my puchases installed!

Horrible customer service

They have multiple call centers across multiple countries, long wait times, no central place for coordination and they don’t actually care about the end customer experience. In fact, they literally lie to get you off the phone. Would never buy from BestBuy again.

never buy from BEST BUY ever- they dont help

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.never buy from best buy ever . i would never want my friends or family to go through hours of follow-up frm 25/11/20 to 12/8/20. we have had 4 service calls(each is an 1.5 hr long call-as no things is reordered nor noted on account.) and still i am unable to even do one load of laundry my old machines are disconnected and in garage(they damaged our new basement while bring the new ones inn-thats another followup) and new one is useless doesn't dry a single cloth.4 times people have come they dont know what is wrong as my vent have no clog at all and machine is giving error of d95 .no technician is sound in his job all are contractors and give hardly 10-15 min.they dont have booties and will talk with mask down .no professionalism. even if u complain there is no record notes you on other end are wasting you time on phone. last agent left saying change the machine.and for that i am asked to go to store as i got it in deal so i hv to go to store.they cant do any adjustment .-its harrestment nothing else. our old GE machines were working perfectly good we just thought of updating to new model .

Beware of purchases from the outlet

I went to the outlet and found this dryer which was the one I was looking for. No one could tell me what was wrong with it. I didn't see any significant scratches or dents and I was led to believe most of the issues would be cosmetic. Once it was delivered and installed it made a bad noise that seemed to be coming from the drum. I had it returned. I was able to get my money back which I took to another store and bought a brand new dryer. I will never buy from the outlet again and I will never buy an appliance from best buy.

5 stars dryer, 1 star installation

Everything finally working after two separate visits by two different Best Buy installation contractors, and our own plumber coming in to fix the leaks. My guess is that Best Buy is reliable enough for installations in a relatively new, standard home, but can't handle custom designed or older homes.

Not a great dryer

Faulty dryer

However wouldn't recommend this tproduc because there must have been a mechanical issue with the heating element or the heating core system.

Door does not fully close

The dryer has not been used yet as the dryer door does not fully close. Tried to schedule a best buy geek squad service thru customer service and was told nothing available and I should try calling back in a few days.

Bad Experience... with coustomer support.

Endless calls to customer support resulted in a promise for a replacement, but it's been a month of playing the waiting game. The delivery saga is like a sitcom of errors, and communication with support resembles Morse code – zero stars and still stuck in limbo.
