Not worth the price even on sale

The App feature is useless since you have to “lock” your washer/dryer. The sensors are also very delicate so if you are on a 1 hour cycle and you accidentally touch the button there is no way for that cycle to go back to that state it was in

First and last purchase from LG

Called LG for manufacturing warranty and they said it was out warranty as their warranty starts on the date of the purchase and not the date of delivery. so even though I didn't have the product in my hand it was considered in warranty.

Missing out on a dryer

Nightmare

He pointed me to this and said he has it at his own mother’s place, which made it a done deal for me. Couldn’t be happier having bought this.

Woke up next morning house smells like gas on 4/24/2024. shut off gas, open doors. Have to wait till 4/26/24 for their sub-contractor to fix. Even asked if was leaking beforehand! With sub-contractors like this ABT sounding like a much needed option

Beware of Current Best Buy Service

Geek Squad isn't what it use to be! Delivery team dented and scratched the appliances. Told me to call Best Buy for replacement. Damaged existing dryer vent when removing - replaced with BB part which wasn't long enough to connect to new dryer. Left without finishing the install. When I went to use my washing machine, all water poured from utility sink onto floor as delivery team unhooked the drain at the bottom. After attempting to tighten, additional plumbing underneath sink is now leaking. After raising concern for a potential gas leak, BB finally sent 3rd party vendor back out (after day 3) to install a dryer vent I purchased from Amazon and attempt to tighten plumbing undeneath utility sink.

LG has the word customer service imaginable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hate this dryer. Had it for a day, went to find the air dry option, could not find it. Tried calling customer service. LG appears to use an overseas call center. The background noise made it impossible to hear and the rep. was extremely rude and snippy. Literally the most shocking customer service I have experienced in a long time. Eventually I realized that, to get air dry (one of the most basic settings imaginable) I would have to use the Thingq app. Downloaded it -- found out it is extremely invasive. To use it, one has to allow location, camera, and other settings. Sorry no. Between having the worst customer service imaginable and not providing a basic setting unless one agrees to use an app that is basically a tracking device, I decided to return the dryer.
