Anyone that is giving this TV a good review hasn’t even had it for a year. I’ve been using this TV for 8 mos. All of a sudden, it doesn’t even turn on. LG customer service is an absolute JOKE. I paid almost $4k for this TV and it hasn’t even given me a year of life.

I’ve been waiting over a month for this product to be scheduled for delivery. Some associates believe it is a “deleted item” which basically means they don’t think they sell it anymore. On rare occasions I have been able to get ahold of associates that claim they are working hard on this and if I’m patient it will be fulfilled as quickly as possible which would merely be a disappointing update if they bothered to initiate the follow up status updates themselves but I find it unacceptable that I’ve had to do all the work to get any updates on my order despite the enormous delay. I’ve had a very bad experience and probably won’t make any other large purchases with Best Buy. I keep getting emails asking me to review my recent purchase and since I still cant speak to the quality of the product itself, this is my feedback

Had to replace the main panel after a move. Not covered by warranty! However, the HDMI-ARC never worked after that. LG was hard to reach. And harder too ommunicate with. $5K down the drain!

I bought this TV a year ago. The day I received the TV, it quit working so I had to return it. A year later, a horizontal line appeared in the middle of the TV. They sent people to “repair” it, the line was gone but now every now and then I get only audio with a blank screen. Don’t buy this TV.

TV worked for a total of 1 day before the screen suddenly went blank after a small pop. Nothing worked to get it working again (including all tech advice). It was plugged into high capacity surge protector as well, one that worked perfectly fine with a previous TV.

The g3 77 inch is outstanding and truly a next gen upgrade from the g2. The first thing you will notice is brightness. But imagine that brightness with still the amazing contrast of OLEDs …the brightness helps with highlights from hdr and shockingly very noticeable in sdr. The colors also pop more on this tv even im film maker mode which is very accurate . The qd-oled debate : I have never seen a qd-oled but early indications are that the g3 is extremely close in color and brightness. If you’re a current LG owner this tv is a no brainer .., Dolby vision is on at least 3/4 of the content I watch and Samsung does not have Dolby … also lg works well with the sound bar I use the Sonos arc and I heard Samsung had issues there ..when your friends see the tv even causal watchers will notice the insane picture quality on this tv … and you can go back and watch shows or movies you watched before and all the sudden it’s fresh again with this upgrade. If you’re looking at new tv this is a must buy .. remember the 83 inch does not have MLA that’s the only negative 77 inch and lower … if you are looking at the 83 inch just get the c2 on sale

I upgraded from my LG CX two months ago which was already an incredible TV but my experience with the G3 has been bar none thus far. From the HDR, color, brightness, and VRR support for gaming - I can say without a doubt that this TV is for YOU if you're someone that wants the best. From a streaming perspective, I paired the TV with an Apple TV 4K, a vodka cable, and a Sonos Arc + Sub to fully optimize the creators' intentions. HDR10, the lightning fast response time, and the the dark room mode on game optimizer brings a level of immersion unlike anything I've experienced before now on my Playstation 5! I also see a significant difference in brightness upscaling on SDR gaming when I play on my nintendo switch. I have the ability to control the natural light in my bedroom but in case I do want to let that light in, the display does a phenomenal job with anti-glare as well. At this point, I'm content with keeping this TV as my daily driver for the next couple or so years until 8K content is more frequent.

This TV has excellent color and all kinds features needed to experience a quality picture for viewing sports, movies, playing video games, etc. We bought another one for our basements. All our friends and family marvel how well the picture quality is on this TV. We’re thinking about buying another one for our bedroom.

This is an incredible TV! I have owned previous OLED, and this one stands out amongst all of them. Super bright, and very crisp with all my movies and games.

Great picture quality. The sound bar was a great addition to the TV. It was very easy to setup.

This TV has a quality picture overall. The only problem I had with it was highlights crushing with the energy mode turned off. The TV actually controls picture brightness well with less crushing when this mode is turned on. It is in a large room with variable overhead lights and the picture is excellent.

Be prepared to be blown away. This is the highest and greatest tv to hit the market. An Oled thats this bright is unreal. Cant wait to see the higher end tv models have in store

owned my Lg 77" G3 for the past two months. My honest opinion: This tv is good overall but not great. There is room for improvement in regards to image processing and upscaling. Could not pull the trigger on Sony A95L so I guess I am stock for a while with the next best thing. I recently paired this tv with Samsung q930c soundbar for a great sound experince.
