It is difficult to compare when you haven't tried all the tvs in a real home environment but this tv has surpassed all my expectation. I have heard C3 pretty much gives you the same experience but I went with latest tech (MLA) and galary look (sit close to wall). Personally I think you can't go wrong with either choice.

It didn't come with remote, stand or mount. Surprise to see the pixel cleaning and takes up to ten minutes to start

Waste of BIG money!

Since the TV was expensive ($4000) we also purchased the Best Buy Total Membership and TV Connect and Mounting Service. We thought we had all our bases covered. Sadly, we did not. Best Buy mounted the TV and, since they wouldn’t put an outlet behind the TV, we contracted with a professional HDTV Installation company to place an outlet behind the TV. The TV worked perfectly until April 2024. At that point, after being on for a few minutes, a grey, then black line, would appear and the TV would shut itself off. Best Buy Geek Squad came out and discovered a tiny, barely visible, smooth indent on the bottom left of the TV and said that was “physical damage” and that neither Best Buy or LG would repair or replace the TV. The assumption was that we damaged the TV. We did NOT touch the TV since September. For two months we attempted to resolve this. We even had an attorney write Best Buy a letter. There was no response. We finally gave up and had the TV hauled away. Over $4000 down the drain. We will NEVER be buying another TV from Best Buy and NEVER an LG TV. Picture shows what's left of the TV after haul-away...

Save your money and buy SONY, I will never, EVER buy another LG TV. The C1 was a lemon (had 2) then decided to “upgrade” only to have the 77” G3 screen start blinking and having horizontal lines going all the way across it!

I definitely see the progression in upscaling and technology although both TVs look amazing. The G3 is by far the brightest oled I’ve seen and the colors are vibrant. The HD picture quality is amazing and the SD upscaling is impressive with this latest processor. The game mode makes my PlayStation look amazingly bright and colorful to say the least. Also, I feel a sense of comfort knowing that these tv’s last as my C7 has been perfect. The 5 year included warranty made this big purchase a no-brainer. Great job LG.

The blacks are incredibly deep, and the colors just pop off the screen. It’s perfect for movies and gaming, especially with features like Dolby Vision. The design is sleek and modern too. While it’s on the pricier side, it’s totally worth the investment for the viewing experience!

The flat mount truly puts the TV a fraction of an inch to the wall and you see no cords or plugs. The builr-in NextGen for local broadcasrs is phenomenal making broadcast TV look better than some streaming shows. The only downside I experienced was that i could not get the LG Magic Remote to control poering my receiver on and off for my home theater sound system. It would control volume but not power but it was because i have a rather old system. Those with newer systems and sounbars don’t seem to have any issue. I highly recommend this LG model!!
