It’s the perfect TV for the needs that I had. I purchased the TV because my 65 inch TV had went out after about 10 years and it was a LG so I decided to purchase the same brand but a bigger model and so far so good thanks a lot.

Only cons , are the remote control buttons are not intuitive, have to turn on lights to check the right one

For the price you get big (86”) but not quality. You either get price or quality! I took price so I got wait I paid for! You don’t get very much quality unfortunately with 60hrz lcd panels but 120hrz is twice the price!

I wanted to splurge and upgrade my TV size. I navigated towards LG because of the other appliances in my apartment. So much new technology that I also visited my local BB for guidance. Ultimately, being that I just need it for TV and occasional movies, I opted for the UA77 series. Definitely happy with my purchase! I haven't connected my sound bar yet, but the sound is great, to me. And picture is nice and crisp. I have noticed that due to the size, some channels playing movies doesn't fit the whole screen. So, I'm still figuring out if that's them or a "me" issue. I'd still recommend it for sure!!

If this was a first TV for someone, it would be very good. But if upgrading from another TV (2023 75" TCL for me), then it actually felt like a downgrade in most areas...other than the huge 86" size. And it is a big one. First of all, I am not a fan of the operating system, WebOS. It was sluggish. Secondly, I have a hard drive I like to watch movies from. It does not read all media types. So, the hard drive I had was a waste with this TV. Third, I'm not a fan of the remote. Upgrading from a ROKU TV with a simplistic remote, this LG has TOO MANY buttons. I'm sure over time, I could have gotten used to it. But after 2-3 weeks of ownership, I just couldn't. The buttons don't light up like some remotes in the market and is difficult to navigate in low light. Perhaps the price is right for most. Regardless, it has enough little things I didn't like that I decided to return it and spend a little more on what I really wanted - an 85" with a much simpler remote that actually lights up. And a much better quality picture. In summary, there are other options around the same price point (even cheaper) that would be worth it and very this one. That is, unless you are a die hard LG fan or just need that extra inch of TV size over comparable 85" TVs. This, of course, is all in my opinion.

Pretty happy with this purchase of this TV. Picture is extremely clear, very vivid. I love the features from the webOS. Far more features than I ever imagined. I've had a TV for a few weeks now, I'm still finding new things that I did not know were there. The color is extremely sharp. The audio isn't the best, but most people hook up their audio to something else nowadays, so that's not an issue. It has tons of features, like the ability to reduce down the eye strain. That's how vivid the picture is on this unit. The size is every bit as one can imagine. Pretty happy with this purchase, particularly at the price point I got it at.

Welcome to the Big Screen ! ! ! I bought this TV for my living room to replace the 65” TV that was in there and I am extremely happy that I did. Best Buy had both the Samsung and the LG models side by side and both had excellent pictures but I went with the LG because to me the display was a bit brighter and a little more crisp than the Samsung, not knocking Samsung because the difference in my opinion was very small but overall I love my new LG TV.

Very large and works well so far, only con is that the speakers aren't very loud.

Hard to go wrong with a price like this - The TV is fantastic for an entry level unit - It does everything I need, and looks great from all angles - The remote is super cheap and poorly designed (surprising, as I love LGs higher level TV remotes) - and its odd having only 3 HDMI ports - Sound is also very weak, but for a $600 TV you shouldn't expect more.
