    When purchasing new HP Envy laptop decided to not opt for Envy with internal drive. More economical to get external which is only used occasionally. Easy to add to computer bag when traveling along with external storage drive.

    The external DVD/cd reader/writer from LG is slim and lightweight. Works very well both in playing and in writing. It works smoothly as if it were a part of the laptop used. Very good for the price.

    Ibought this because the internal cd/dvd drive failed on my laptop. It was very easy to set up and use. I was able to load all my programs back on to my laptop after a new hard drive was insatlled.

    I bought this item when I bought my Asus laptop, and have been super impressed by it! It's easy to pack and travel with and I would much rather have a thinner computer and add on the cd drive. Much easier to tote around.

    It was a gift for a friend who bought a Dell laptop without a DVD burner. She can install apps and programs and listen to her music. Her laptop is a little lighter without a burner. She loves it.
