Only problem is that every time I turn on my Surface Pro, even if the device is not plugged in, LG asks me if it can access my computer. I don't like this. It's a nuisance.

great little writer from lg..havent really used it that much...just use it for my son's schoolwork since most info can be downloaded from the web...so far so good tho

This item works as it should. I use it with a Mac and it is less than half the price of a Mac one and does the same thing.

I use this with my laptop whose internal drive stopped working. this basic dvd drive just plugs in and is ready to go.

I have many valuable documents and images on my computer, so safe storage is a must. This external drive is just what I needed. It's simple to install and reliable. No problems whatsoever.

I have only used this a few times so far and it does what it is supposed to do. Plug in the USB and it loads easily. Thin and quiet--no need to plug it in to a power cord. So far so good.

I bought this primarily for backing up and for playing dvds on my laptop when I travel, so I wanted something light. It is everything I expected and for a great price.

The DVD writer does not always recognize that a disk is in the drive. Also, it does not recognize the disk until I shut down the computer and turn it back on. When it does write the DVD it is a good quality.

Purchased this to be used alongside a new iMac. Works great and reads very quickly for a good price. Only complaint would be that it is a bit loud while running.

Forced to purchase two Lenova's supposedly the same. Had software startup problems on both and my wife's has a tape like image on the screen. Without Best Buy service....would have been very frustrated.

I'm very happy with my purchase. It is easy to use and works wonderfully. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a CD/DVD burner.

Since I use a cd with my mac so seldom it is easy to connect if I want an audio book at home....otherwise it is out of the way ....works well and easy to use.

Had this DVD drive for about a month and have been running it 24/7 and it has not failed yet. I have already recouped my cost. I would buy this drive again in the future if available.

I wasn't sure if I would like having to use an external cd drive but after doing so I have no complaints. Just plug it into a usb port and you're ready to go!

I bought this to go with my HP laptop, I was disappointed my computer didn't come with one built in in the first place. But now I have a portable one... So its kind of cool either way.

This DVD player has the capability to watch You Tube and Net Flex. The prints on remote is too small, When you turn sometimes jams, unplug it. It works fine.

I had to purchase this DVD reader since new software I purchased was not downloadable. The price made it a good deal and I can watch movies on my laptop with it

Takes wonderful pictures is easy to use its also small enough to fit in my pocket but not to small so I can't read the settings would recommend to anyone looking for a new cameraw

The drive works great. I haven't tried to hook it up to my TV yet, I'm going to try that this weekend. It works great with our laptop. Not the fastest burner but it's a bargin buy

Since nowadays most laptops and ultrabooks don't come with a DVD slot, this is great for when you eventually need one. Slim and light to go in your backpack.
