Great peripheral for my lap top. Burned DVDs efficiently. excellent solution for a reasonable price.

This portable disc drive is very handy, especially for laptops with no disc drive. USB power is nice and adds to the ease of use. Just plug it in and it's ready to go!

Bought this due to a failed built-in DVD drive on a laptop and an unreliable one on another. Plug the unit it, wait for Windoze to recognize it and it works. Can't beat that, can you?

I purposely didnt buy teh more expensive blue ray version due to the size - this is super thin and works great without an externnal power source - highly recommend it

The DVD player is plug and play and lightweight Resolution on the movies is good and is easy to use

This is an easy to use, basic feature DVD/CD drive. It took a little longer to install driver software than I expected but everything works well.

I haven't figured out hos to get this thing to play DVD movies. I am unable ot find driver to be downwloaded. I do not recommend unless someone from Best Buy can give me some advice.

I purchased this for my Dell laptop and unfortunately it did not work with it. I have heard great things about it but I had to go with a Dell product to insure that it was compatible.

This drive is perfect for the newer computers and tablets with a USB 2.0/3.0 connection, and no cd drive. This allowed me to load music and games without a hitch.

LG external hard drive does exactly what it is supposed to do at a fraction of the cost of the prettier fancier apple brand. very easy to use right out of the box

When my disc drive stopped working, this helped saved my computer when it decided to lock up and needed to be rebooted. It works perfect and is worth every penny.

Since the recent, unfortunate demise of most laptop optical drive this, because of it's size is a good alternative. Wish it was a bit faster.

It works great. I needed it because my laptop did not have a cd/dvd drive. I have loaded software on my computer and burned a dvd so far. It is very thin and light.

great inexpensive laptop for the grandkids. Very easy to use and set up. Ours had it running in a matter of minutes. Built in cd drive makes it very convenient.

Greatly needed... I will get good use with the external drive. I guess I am just a little old fashion. I enjoy having both the flash drive and the external drive.

Necessary function at minimum price. Though of flimsy plastic build, this DVD player works well.

Needed external drive to connect to a computer / tablet combo that didn't have a drive. Had no complications reading OS disk to redo tablet.

purchased after finding out my old external drive refused to power on with my newer notebook. works great for those rare programs that still ship with a cdrom.

This unit was purchased online & picked up in-store for our convenience while in town. As it turned out we decided on a Samsung DVD player that matched our tv....also from Best Buy

This is the perfect companion for any PC/tv. The do everything drive. It doesn't come with any good burning programs but a Google search is the perfect remedy.
