All good but wasn't happy the drive was not already on the Mac computer however it is what it is. Hopefully apple goes back to having them but I highly doubt it. Especially with iTunes and iCloud and apps

i bought new lap tope its slime , so no cd driver i was worry about cd driver because i heard its expensive since i use cd lot in my study i found its very helpful moreover is cheap and good quality.

The disc they give you is a trial subscription with bells and whistles. My computer guy helped get around this and kept everything simple. My daughter only needed something to plug and play DVD's on.

The disc burner is light and compact, but I haven't been able to use it much because the MacAir I bought it for is defective and has to be repaired. Already!

Did not know that I was buying an external CD/DVD drive that did not require a external power supply. Runs just by plugging into a slot on my computer.

This does what says and for a good price. I don't actually have any major complaints, perhaps the connecting usb cord could be a bit longer. I would have liked a more plug and play operation, but the setup is still easy enough.

We were not aware that we didn't have a program to run the product and the installation directions did not explain this so we ended up taking it into the Geek Squad to figure out why it did not work.

Works well. Good price. Only negative is that it is made of thin plastic. It's light, but I'm concerned it will be easily damaged when transporting it.

I liked the dvd drive great but I took it back since I took the computer back I didn't need the dvd drive. I guess I am just set in my old fashion ways I like desktop computers better than laptops.

It gets the job done for a relatively low cost. It is a bit flimsy though. The fact that you have to buy this because the computers are no longer made with a disc drive is ridiculous to start with.

This was sold to me when I bought my Surface Pro 3 by a Best Buy Associate who owned a Surface Pro 3. The USB port doesn't not supply enough power to write to a DVD or CD. Returned the product.

bought this to go with my daughters new MacBook air.

I was a little hesitant to install. I have only used Norton in the past. However Norton has been slowing my computer down and continuously gives pop ups on my screen so I thought I would try this.

I have enjoyed my external dvd player. I have used it to watch a movie. The only thing that is a problem is that you need to keep it completely still or it may mess up the picture or the music.

I use this on my new Mac Mini the don't come with a optical drive. I guess its not really nessessary for today's computing. It works well and the its cost is lower than the Apple super drive.

I thought the unit was made well however the volume did not appear to be loud enough for our needs. We did like the small and slim size of the unit.

Burns CDs but you almost can't touch it at all or you get an error and an unusable disc. Didn't work as a DVD player on my brand new TV.

This is a great purchase. I originally bought it to install to a recently purchased laptop. The installation was only 3 steps, and they didn't take long at all.

I needed this for my laptop for downloading software and it works fine

when using the new gen porta-computing this sturdy recorder/player is a must have. for backups and video viewing. also great for sharing photo slide shows with with non-internet connected family and friends,
