Cheaper alternative to an inoperative internal DVD

the second one worked

Hooked it up to install software to use at college. Didn't work. Took it back to Best Buy-they tested it and it was a dud. They gave me a replacement and it works fine. Id rather not go through the hassle of exchanging a factory reject that made it through the quality control process.
