Nice addition to my netbook

This drive fills the gap. My first attempt at installation did not succeed (don't know why) but the next try a couple of days later worked. The only negative is that you have to pull the disc tray out fully before you can load it.

Gets the job done!

I don't use it too often but it's super quiet and does everything I need it for plus it's held up to the traveling around through multiple airports

Just stop using optical media

We use these at work on occasion. I've yet to have one break on us and we are not gentle with them. I recommend these for people that want an ODD that just HAVE to have one, but are smart enough to realize that having an ODD installed in a laptop is a waste of space.

Slim design and slides in pocket of my small briefcase without adding more bulk.
