Later learned 8.1 does not support external DVD drive and therefore had to return it. Frustrating experience but did get refund without arguement

Decent DVD drive

This was the cheapest DVD drive I could find and it seems to work well for what I need. The drive itself is nothing fancy but I got it for $20 with a $15 best buy credit and so it was a good deal. The bonus is that it also works with my TV so I can catch movies on there as well. Overall a good device for the price.

Was Not The Product For My Needs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.On the box it leads you to believe (me and the Geek Squad guys) that it can play, burn, and sync music as well as DVD's, but it does not. Other than that it is great for music. Not a bad product.

wouldn't play dvd

defective, I need to return it

Not what I wanted

Easy to use

Connects via USB port and my ultrabook has no connectivity issues with it. Very lightweight and portable as well. Luckily, I got this for cheaper via price match, so check out Amazon or Fry's before you purchase.
