Bought this for my bedroom so we could have Netflix as well as a Blu-ray player. Very easy to set up, Wifi works great, and it's very small so it's hardly noticeable and is portable if you need it to be. My only drawback would be that it doesn't have the time stamp on the actual player, sometimes it's nice to know how far into a movie or show you are without having to press the display button. The more expensive model did have that feature though.

This is a very light external drive that can fix nicely in the outer pocket of any backpack and ready to use on the go.

The set-up was easy. Now I can download all of my old music to my computer.

Does the job well enough. Seems a bit slower than what I'm used to, however I think that's because it's USB powered and not externally powered. Small, light and travels well though.

My girlfriend bought a new computer from Best Buy and needed to download some data from CD's. Her laptop didn't come with a drive so we purchsed this item and it has worked great everytime we have used it.

The LG - 8x External Double-Layer DVD RW/CD-RW Drive is lightweight and easy to use. I got this one for my office and ended up getting another one for my house. Easy to store due to the small compact size.

I bought this player because I had a new laptop without an internal disk. I plugged it right in and played it without a hitch. Love it. Very easy and so far it has performed well.

This is a really nice burner for the price. Good for anyone who wants to be able to burn CDs/DVDs that otherwise wouldn't been able to due to laptop not having one built in. It's quiet and easy to setup.

Bought this to load some old software I had to my new spectre 360. It worked as expected. It is thin and compact.

I originally wasn't a fan of getting a new laptop simply because most of them no longer come with CD drives. I didn't want to have an extra piece to carry around. However, this product is pretty small and thin. It looks great. I've used it a few times now, and it works really well. It doesn't make much noise (not even close to the noise from the CD drive in my last laptop), and you can move it around, at least a little bit, without fear of it skipping or scratching the CD.

I had to buy one for my 2 pcs that dont have DVD players. It plugs into the USB drive with no external power required. It is lightweight, thin & quiet. We installed software & videos with no problem.

I can't believe the computer we bought didn't have a place to put dvd's and didn't notice until I was ready to do taxes. Thank goodness there are adapters. This did the job

this drive did what it is designed for and is portable with the laptop that it was purchased for .I would recommend it to anyone looking for a external disc drive. Easy to plug ,install and use .

This external disk drive is good for the price. It's light in weight, durable, good looking, and functional. Overall, it's a good product that I would recommend to anyone.

This is my second purchase and am pleased with both devices. I purchased the second drive because the one in my computer was acting up. This solved the problem and saved me money. Works great.

I'm very happy with this burner. It is very compact and fits into a small space conveniently. It has successfully burned music, videos of my performance animals, and backed up data. A good buy!

I bought this drive when I purchased a new laptop. It is very easy and quick to use for playing and for burning disks. I had no problems at all.

I bought this external CD/DVD to replace a failed internal drive in my desktop PC. Plugged into USB and was off and running. Shortly after, my spouse's Mac Book Pro bit the big one (video died, UGH!), and was replaced by a Mac Book Air (with no CD/DVD drive). Of course, she HAD to have some CD-ROM based software added to the new computer, and I found that the external drive that I purchased worked perfectly for that one-time CD-ROM usage on the Mac. Awesome!

THE LG CD/DVD DRIVE IS GREAT FOR PLAY BACK AS WELL AS RECORDING. IT IS VERY LIGHT AND COMPACT, IT FITS RIGHT INTO MY LAPTOP BAG,AND IT IS POWERED BY AN USB CONNECTION, AND THE PRICE IS RIGHT.
