The LG DVD player, plugged in and played away just like I would have expected it to. It is handy as it does not take up much room and works like a charm when I need it.

Not a fan of external drives but this has worked great for a computer that doesn't have an internal drive. Easy to use, easy to set up and doesn't make too much noise.

Needed a drive for the MacBook and didn't want to pay what Apple wanted for their product. Easy to hook up and use. I am not too particular so this works great for me.

If you have a MacBook Air, you've got to have this DVD. Without it, you've got a Mac Air without digital content viewing/listening. It's quick and portable - nice complement for your Mac Air.

my computer did not have a cd player as most do not these days, this worked as a great alternative for the few times that we will need it. plugs in easily and loads up correctly. no issues!

I love this external cd/DVD player and writer. I recently bought a new laptop and like many new ones, the have no cd insert, this is totally a lifesaver in all aspects at an amazing price!

I purchased this for work because newer laptops don't come with DVD/CD drives anymore. I've had no problems with it and I always trust LG products. I have them all over my house. =)

Great portable optical drive, easy setup with USB, simple to use. lightweight so not cumbersome to carry.

This DVD drive is very compact and I have not found issue with it at all. It has performed as designed to this point and I don't anticipate any issues. The case is very solidly built and installation was a snap, more or less plug and play. As I said you couldn't ask for any more for the money

I loved the price and speed of this R/W drive. Its also compact and easily carried in my laptop bag.

With all the laptops moving away from including DVD drives I had to find another way to add some programs I have on disks. This was a good price and works well. Very easy to use.

I like that this drive is slim, light, and powered by the USB cable. It makes it really portable.

Terrific speeds working with a newer laptop, and does not have a lot of errors at all (like I had before with my internal drive on my old laptop). Would I buy again? Absolutely!

Yes, it is wonderfully small and compact, and yes it does not set you back a lot of $, but it is also one of the best, most functionally current external R/W drives available.
