Purchased at best buy last month, there were other dvd burners and I was skeptical on which one I should choose. When I asked the attendant for one that was easy to use she recommended this one. When I brought it home and plugged it into my usb drive it worked beautifully. The price of this external dvd player was very reasonable.

I connected the drive to my iMac and had no problems whatsoever. The device was recognized right away and I was able to begin importing cds into iTunes with no trouble.

Since my computer didn't have a built in dvd/cd-RW drive, I began searching for an answer. This was it. Works every time, simple, easy and cost effective.

I like this product. The price was right and it's easy to use and set up, and I get great playback. Simple and good quality. You can't beat that!

Very good for its purpose. I wanted something lightweight and easy. I ended up returning it because I don't like having it attached to my laptop.

I have tried this product and it works great and convenient to use. attach to apple computer and plug in and use that's it. It doesn't take much to use it is so easy.

Was perfect for the price and what I needed it for, but if your going to be taking it with you outside your home or office it is a bit flimsy...

I was not sure if having an external drive was inconvenient but I find it was not really in the way and when not in use it stores easy enough.

Now that these iMac desktops don't come with cd/DVD drives we need to purchase them! This is just what I needed to upload music and burn those finished DVD videos!

I bought an Asus 2-in-1 (which I love) but it didn't have a CD/DVD drive so I bought this LG portable DVD writer and it works great. It's very lightweight and slim.

I watch many DVD's with this portable drive. It is light weight and has a decent length cable. I'm very happy with this portable DVD drive. I use it all the time !

Bought as a companion to my Windows ultrabook and also to use with my Macbook whose DVD drive is dead. Plug and play compatible with both OSes. The light weight and thin profile will work fine in my laptop bag, but the light, thin construction may not survive the demands of a road warrior. At this price, though, hard to complain. If it breaks, I'll just buy another one.

Great product. Very easy to install (just plug and play). I am an occasional user of the CD/DVD burner and so far it has performed very well. Well worth the price.

This external hard drive works like it is supposed to work. It is small and light. It worked the first time I plugged the usb to my mini mac.

I bought this for my sister in law, her sony laptop's dvd drive stopped working so I got her this. In Windows 7 it works flawlessly, no need to install drivers.

This product was very easy to use just plug it up and use, I did not need to use the cd that came with it. I would recommend to anyone who is needing to buy this.

Purchased this drive to use in place of a failed MacBook internal drive. It worked perfectly....very fast and quiet.

Nice Bluray player. Compact, nice picture and looks great. Plays everything I have tried. Lack of apps is fine for my usage as I don't stream anything anyway...
