I used this primarily as an external cd-drive. It was extremely easy to set up and you definitely cannot beat the price. I was definitely satisfied with my purchase.

I like it. its very thin and easy to carry. recently I bought it ,and I played only one time yet.

Connecting the old to the new with this easy to use dvd rw. Able to upload my old software onto my new computer as well as accessing photos/files from the past.

It has really helped to have the external DVD Drive for adding my printer to my Asus 2-in-1 Tablet/Laptop and playing movies or adding other things to my Tablet!

I've been using it on a Mac in both OS X and Windows 8.1 and it works out of the box on both. It's a little flimsy, but works well enough.

This drive works great - and fast. It was just what we needed for a laptop that did not have an internal cd drive.

It connects correctly the first time, and does what it's supposed to do. It's not too loud and is small enough to carry along with the laptop, when necessary.

It's small, lightweight, fits into my computer case with ease and works wonderfully!

I'm in love with this product because it makes burning CD's seem so easy!! Besides they sound like the original one that you burnt it from.

This is a portable DVD player for a laptop that did not come with a DVD player built in. Does a nice job. Would recommend this for anyone.

Works as advertised. Works well with new Dell laptop. A little noisy as previously reviews state, but I won't be using it in a library.

I like this product and it is a must for the laptop. I can use it to install the softwares on my laptop and to run DVD on my TV also by connecting it to my Tv.

Bought a new computer that does not have an cd/dvd drive built in and needed one. It was easy to hook up and works just fine, a good buy.

I needed a CD drive but didn't like the bulkier and heavier computer that had a drive installed. The external drive was ideal and on sale during the holidays.

With many of the newer laptops not having a disk drive, this piece of hardware has come in very handy. It is lightweight and easily portable in my laptop bag.

Super easy to use. Just what I needed to use older software since many laptops today do not have optical drives.

Overall, this drive does exactly what it should do. For me, it was simply plug-n-play. For the price, I'm quite pleased with the performance and the size really can't be beat. Very slim and light. The only negative I would give it is that the case is built with relatively cheap plastic so it may not be very robust. However, considering the price, you could use it for a year and get a new one later.
