My laptop does not have a CD drive and I found this one at Best Buy for a good price great brand name and it works like a champ. Well worth the price.

I needed something quick to finish some DVDs I was making and I bought it plugged it in to the USB port and just started copying. No setup no nothing.

I haven't had any trouble with this product so far. I'm hoping it will last longer than some reviews said it did. I mostly got it to be able to install programs on my ultrabook. So far it's been used to put CDs on my computer. Seemed to work just fine. It does vibrate a little and you can definitely hear the fan, but it's just like my other computer used to sound like when putting CDs onto the computer..

I have used the DVD player only twice; but found it incredibly easy to set up and begin playing. It is quite thin and compact. No problems thus far.

just had to attach the usb cable and the LG software downloaded automatically. And device gets it's power from the laptop so no extra wires needed.

It gets the job done. The slim design is definitely a plus because it doesnt take up much space in my back. The functionality is clean and simple, no rocket science involved. My only negative comment is because it didnt work with my smart tv, in for me to watch my movie from the redbox. And maybe that was my fault, but I seriously doubt it.

My new laptop did not come with a CD/DVD drive. This one did a good job downloading all of my CD's. Pretty good for the price.

I had to purchase an external drive as my laptop doesn't have one. Installation of the drivers was easy and overall the drive has been reliable.

I like the compact design. It's light and does not take up much room in my laptop bag. I also like the idea that you can connect it to a USB port on a tv and use it as a DVD player

all in one computer has no dvd drive, usually not needed but just in case its nice to have the option it is small and easy to store until needed

There is not much to say except this external drive is perfect! The price just can't be beat. LG is a great brand. Definitely gets the job done =)

Nothing complicated about this device. It does what it is supposed to do, is small and lightweight. And I can use this on many devices if needed.

Drive is light and portable, all that's required is usb connection cable (included).

Great for the price and for loading cd software on laptops that do not have a cd/dvd player built in.

Plugged into my Mac Mini and it worked right away. No problems using the default DVD program in os x.

Bought the Toshiba 2-in-1 one so I needed an external CD/DVD burner. I use one rarely (I prefer SD of flash memory), but it was very affordable, it's light weight and travels well. It is slow, no doubt. But for the few times I've needed it, I can live with it. I would recommend it. Thank you, Best Buy sales rep, for recommending this.

I bought this to go with my new MacBook Air, as there is no built-in DVD drive. This drive fits the bill perfectly and was ver reasonably priced!
