    The LG - 8x External Double-Layer DVD RW/CD-RW Drive is a great drive. It's fast. So far no issues. I gave it a five out five because it works as it supposed too. The only drawback is you have to lug it around eats up a USB port once plugged in. Like my drives internal. All in all it is a great drive for the money spent.

    I never used any of this type of devices but I really like it. It is small and you can take it anywhere you go. My laptop dont have a cd rom so I bought one. The price is good too for the things it can do for your computer. Great deal and good device.
