A higher quality CD drive

Unfortunately, this presents a problem for those of us who are educators, especially in higher education, where much of what we use comes on a disk. With the purchase of a new laptop I found that I needed an external cd drive and with the help of a Best Buy Representatives I was told to go for the higher quality product because it would be more durable and have a much better life. He was very right about this! It's been a pleasure to use, it's easy to store or to take along with me & I feel very comfortable with the quality of it. That alone makes it worth its price. I have no doubt I'll get a good number of years use out of it which is exactly what I'll be needing. Therefore for me, it gets a high recommendation!

Great external disc drive.

Very slim and with great portability. Loads DVD/CD information fast. I haven't tried burning a CD yet, but don't need to these days.
