Great product. Does its job. I like that the size, and is very compatible as I can bring it anywhere.

a cheap-ish disc reader and burner. Does its job. The casing is super flimsy: should be at least a little more sturdy for how much it costs when not bundled with a computer. I'm waiting for it to break, seeing as I have to practically pick it up to poke the disc tray back into the box, or at very least jam irrepairably seeing how absolutely tiny it is vertically. But, to my delight, I haven't managed to destroy it yet in spite of it feeling as though it's made of aluminum foil.

My external drive was inexpensive light in weight, I carry it to school. And other places. It's sleek in looks and easy to attach to computer.

Very easy player to use and attach with good speed and response. I have used it for some photo work and setting up printers ........... no sweat!

Purachased the drive since my laptop did not come with an internal unit. It is functional for me to load programs. It does come with a disc of programs that is not of value to me and probably takes up space.

I purchased this CD DVD drive due to a laptop not having a CD or DVD drive built in. Plugged it in and it installed the drivers and I was able to read CD's and DVD's right away.

This product is lightweight and does the job. It is convenient in that you can plug it into multiple devices that play cds and display dvds.

I purchased this for use on my rMBP. I travel overseas for work and needed something small and light. This drive is not much bigger than a jewel case, so that is perfect. It was recognized right away by the rMBP. However, there was a data error on the first disc I tried to run and it locked up the drive. It took some time to get the drive to eject the disc. I ended up unplugging and plugging it back in twice before it would allow me to eject the disc. Other than that, it has worked fine.

This is an nice external drive. The only problem I have ever had with it was it doesn't always open when I push the button, I have to go into the computer and open it that way. Otherwise it works great!

It is so light and no installation hasel, it works so good and no need to buy a more expensive product. We love it and so we recomend it.

Although the speed isn't as fast as a desktop drive, it's still a very useful and functional item that most laptops are lacking . The value is also a plus.

reallly like the easyness to use, didn't have any trouble with it as it was pretty easy to load and then start with my work and movies that I wanted to do, not much of a computer geek, but I didn't have any problems with this.

Due to newer computers, mine has no disc drive. I needed to install some disc information to my new computer. This drive was very easy to use. My only thing that was a little of an issue was immediately selecting the request of what I needed from the external drive. If you wait to long, at least in my case, the request disappears and from that point on, the disc is difficult to open. After that happened to me a couple of times, I was very quick to identify what I wanted to do. Otherwise, I am very happy with the external drive.

This external drive works as advertised. Do not expect it to be as fast as an internal drive, or one of the higher speed external drives that aren't as portable. Works fine for playing/burning DVDs.

The slim design of the drive works great. The ability to use this device on multiple computers makes it worthwhile.
