But whenever I have, it has been good, gets the job done. If you buy it in conjunction with a laptop (or at least the Asus Zenbook UX302LA), I think you get a 25% discount or something. Makes it worth it I suppose!

Exactly what I needed!

I was going to replace it but figured if I could find a cheaper route then I would take it. This external drive was perfect! I love that its powered by the laptop so theres not extra cords to plug in or anything. I have a macbook, an older one at that and It just plugged right in and started reading discs! A really solid buy! Couldn't be happier!
