It works perfectly with my MacBook Pro

I use it for loading software into the MacBook as well as for burning CDs and DVDs of my files and photos for backup purposes. There was no problem hooking it up. I simply plugged it into one of the USB 3 ports on my MacBook, it was immediately recognized and I started working with it. Fantastic!

Works very reliably and the smart apps are great.

iMac SuperDrive replacement

Low-cost option for ripping DVDs, etc. Had to edit a Hex file to get the Mac to recognize it, but that's an OS X issue, not the drive's fault. Working great so far. Wish it w a slot load, but that's a lot to ask for for ~$35.
