An excellent unit that fits all my needs.

It both plays DVDs and perfectly and easily burns anything I want to copy to a disc; and although I keep it connected to my desktop computer, the convenient size makes it easy to shift over to my laptop unit. Also, I haven't found any of the negative comments about the unit in other reviews to be cause for worry -- at least for me.

Good Quality DVD Burner

The Best Buy associate recommended this one and because I bought it with the laptop, I received a $20 discount - so it was definitely worth it. It is extremely compact and easy to use. It took me longer to get it out of the package than it did to set up. When I've used it to burn a CD or DVD, the quality was excellent.

The product performed as expected

The product worked well after plugging it in the laptop; there was no need install any software or drivers. I also played a DVD on that same laptop after I reinstalled Windows. I have only used it a handful of times and I do not expect to use it a lot.
