Works great. It is made cheaply so it seems fragile, but I haven't had any problems with it. Great price.

great compact dvd player to connect to my new laptop.

My wife's laptop did not come with a DVD drive and this was easy to hook and easy to use.

It was a lot quieter than I thought it would be. It's pretty handsome but feels cheap, so do not drop it. I wish it came with a cable hide like some pocket hdds do. Excellent value for the money as it is the drive for 3 systems in my house as I don't use disks very often.

I need the External Double-Layer DVD RW/CD-RW Drive for my laptop at work. I had no problem with the idem.

I like this product for what I got it for but the quality of it could be a lot better.

installed device and software on new PC. would not function completely. only some CDs would play. software included will not update on PC. took PC to Geek Squad and they loaded some driver to make fully functional.

Haven't used drive much yet but getting ready for vacation and will use it to watch movies.

Actual product is great, but needed to download a dvd software in order to play movies.

This item is easy to install and use. Just plug it in and go. The first time it takes about 15 minutes to get it all set up and installed on your laptop. After that it is super easy to plug in and use anytime. I just wish my laptop had a DVD drive installed so I wouldn't have to carry this around with me.

Needed some extra space and this was easy to set up and seems to do the job just fine.

This external drive is not fancy but it does the job.it was recommended by Geek Squad.

Because the Surface Pro 3 doesn't have a disk drive, the external drive comes in handy

My brother bought one so I got to demo it first. It's just what I need; incredibly thin, lightweight, and portable. Not the biggest fastest or magnificent but will fit your needs if you just need a cheap, lightweight, portable external drive or burner when you need it.

Now I can finally watch movies and play pc games on my new laptop. And it works great with both of them!!

I brought it because the laptop they making now don't come with a DVD player. And I like watching my DVDs

Haven't had time to use it yet, the only down fall with this is I run out of USB ports.

I bought a couple of these to do some Windows 7 upgrades onsight on some pc's that did not have internal CD drives and they worked great to complete the task.
