Slim and lightweight

With that said, this machine can burn CD-R and DVD discs. It's very slim and lightweight compared to earlier models. This is definitely worth the buy, but at $34.99 it's a choice call.

Who would have thought

We had to purchase this with a computer we bought so we could play movies. After having the geeks helped up download software needed for out computer and showing us how to work the item we couldn't be happier

Great specs - faulty hardware

Kind of throws a wrench in the plans. Hopefully they can replace it when I get back. I think/hope it's one in a million that has faulty hardware because it's a good computer otherwise!

Decent freestanding DVD drive

Very lightweight. I question the long term durability and have not used it to burn, just as a drive to install older software onto a new drive-less tablet/Surface.
