Nothing special but does its job of reading discs without flaws....have nothing more to ask of it.

i just needed a dvd player and it was the cheapest

Bought this External Double-Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive by LG to use with my computer.

this item works fine for an external hardware, case is solid and slick looking..

This is exactly what I needed and does a great job of quickly and quietly reading/writing CDs. I needed a way to put my music CDs on my ultrabook and to burn CDs and this does both well. It was easy to install and I haven't had any problems with it. The only thing that could be a problem for some is that the tray when ejected feels a little flimsy. It has held up fine for me, but in the store I went back and forth between this one and another that does not have a tray and simply ejects the discs that was $20.00 more than this model. Overall this product works perfectly, but if you tend to be rough with your stuff you may be more likely to break the tray when it is ejected. (when not ejected the device feels sturdy.)

I bought this product to install in my new laptop. My new laptop doesn't have program to burn CDs and watch DVDS. This product is very easy to install and burns CDS and watch DVDS in very good condition. I am happy for this product to use it.

Very compact and quiet. Works great with quick start up the first time I attached it to my system.

good for the price it is too light for the practical reason when u eject the disc

I bought this for my daughter .She used it with HP AMD A10 It works great.i will buy LG products again

I love having the convenience of being able to attach and remove the external drive whenever I need to. It is not bulky and fits nicely in my laptop bag for easy portability. It also works very well. I would recommend this to anyone with a laptop that does not have a CD/DVD Drive built in.

Very cost effective and have had no problems with the player.

Got this for my laptop it seems they no loger include at disc drive. Had no problem and it work great

Most laptops no longer come with a CD drive but a lot of programs are still on DVD. Works great!

This could be a five star unit but has a real.cheesy remote and like most wifi blue ray players it will not surf the web and if you have a wireless printer in the same room it does not want to connect to the router. Purchased a Sony and have no problems, also Sony is the only wifi blue ray the you can surf with.

Happy with my purchase, ended up returning bc I found it for less elsewhere, but I love the item

Nice external drive for the price if you need to install software, view a DVD or make backups. It is somewhat fragile, and I would not recommend putting it in your briefcase if you are a road warrior without a protective case.
