This is a great addition to your laptop or computer for the money. Since many laptops do not have DVD drives, this was good to have for the every now and then thing that comes up where you need a drive like this. The cost was very reasonable as well.

I hooked everything up and it fired up just fine. Remember to read instructions for best results.

The functions operate just fine with no issues. But unfortunately I have this hooked to an Apple and the eject button does not work for any Apple computer. You are forced to use the eject on the screen or in your program. So for my use, the eject button on the product itself is useless.

I love this product almost as much as well do the Geeks that work there:) Best buy . They always stand behind there stuff. They also know how important it is to carry top quality products like this LG disc writer. I couldn't be happier!!

The drive doesn't look nearly as sleek in person, but it still get's the job done. Using it with my iMac and haven't had any issues. It's a bit light and doesn't feel like much, but it's getting the job done.

This external DVD/CD player was the exact device that I needed because my new laptop does not have an internal DVD/CD drive. I originally purchased a drive on-line but could never get the driver to work with Windows 7. This drive works very well.

I purchased this DVD writer/player for my mac. It works perfectly. It does create some vibrations though, but I sit it on the packing foam it came with and that dampens the vibrations significantly. I would buy this one again with no hesitation.

Work flawlessly in recording both CD and DVD discs and also for playing the same in replay. Installing the software provided with the drive installed easily. Glad I went with the LG product instead of the Samsung drive.

Bought this dvd drive to use with my Mac Mini. Plugged it in mini found it right away, put cd in and copied to iTunes. No need to install the software that comes with it unless you want it. Drive is quiet and nice looking.Four stars is only because it’s usb 2.

I purchased this because in my work I have a chest cam. This device will help me be able to make a DVD disc to bring to court when I have to testify.

This has been great. My reason for four stars is that it is just a little noisy when running. I’m not sure what an external disc drive should sound like, but that’s what I think. Otherwise, I am very happy with the purchase, it runs great.

this drive works flawlessly. had purchased a cheaper one and it wouldn't work at all. THIS ONE WAS PERFECT.

It works great, just what I needed to play DVD’s away from home. I haven’t tried to record yet.

I have 1000 cds--my own "itunes" and previously had a "tower" with CD player in which to load to my hard drive. Nice to have this add on so I can keep my music library updated and watch good movies on my 15.6 in screen!

This handy external portable DVD Writer suits my needs. I am able to download and write DVDs to this device. Sometimes when you purchase online in digital format it takes up a great deal of storage unless you store it in One Drive or write it to a DVD.

Love the fact this is slot drive instead of ejecting tray. Great to have for times a dvd drive is needed. Have it mounted on the side of gaming pc, just wished it came in black.

Haven't use the player much. It works when plugged into a PC running Windows 11. It was delivered on time.

This is a great it re my for those who have tablets or laptops and are always on the go. It has great write and read speed. If you needed it to make a quick music or download pictures to disk. This is the device you need.
