Need an external drive to go with new mac pro. Same color, so wife wanted this one.

This DVD drive does what it's designed to do. My new laptop did not have a DVD player in it. I needed it to install some programs. It works exactly like it should

I had to replace the Super Drive in my iMac & it was rather costly to do so. With LG External Drive it's much cheaper to replace & you don't have to schlep your 'puter anywhere.

I use this external drive for burning CDs, and for creating discs of family pictures for my vault (as a back up to the cloud).

After purchasing a Dell laptop, I wanted to have a DVD reader to load CD programs to my laptop since it does not have a CD port. Works excellent and no problems.

I needed this because my laptop doesn't have an optical drive. I bought this to burn cds and it works great. Feels solid and does the job.

I bought this since I got my disc drive stuck on european dads permanently. This has been great for short and long trips and every day use.

Good product so far. I have not used it much, but I picked this one over the other because of the sleek clean look. I also like the cd opening rather than the tray. Don't really have anything bad to say at this time.

I have used this DVD player a number of times, and have no complaints. The only thing I'd would have liked better is a longer cable to tether player and the computer.

Excellent product, works great, would recommend to anybody needing a stand alone disc player.

Average rating for me as I can't figure how to eject the dvds from the drive. I have to unplug it and plung it in again then it'll eject . However , i was successful burning my dvds from my Macpre

Good little dvd rw, unassuming as it is very thin. Have not had a problem with it so far, but it is not as fast as I would personally like. The price was definitely right, so no complaints.

It’s a mobile cd drive plays dvds I think. My Mac didn’t have one built in so this was a cheap solution

This is just powered by usb but for my needs of loading older photo editing software into new computer without disk drive it has worked fine.

This product served to provide me with additional portable storage as well as to provide and additional CD / DVD drive.

We bought this when my wife's internal drive on her MacBook died and it has worked well for us. It sure beat paying $250+ to have the drive in her laptop replaced.

Most computers CPU's now a days do not include a DVD/CD Player. This External portable DVD/CD player solved my problem. I wish it came with a neoprene case.
