Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Spent 4 hours trying to get the ridiculous software to work correctly, called Geek Squad and he spent another hour and a half and finally dumped the software and did something else to the new laptop so I could at least read a dvd from it. Never again. I will return it and purchase a regular CD/DVD Player for my needs.

I use this for photo/video storage

I was told this machine would do that. When I brought this product home and set it up to my HP Pavilion hard drive, it would not open. I called Geek Squad and was on the telephone for about 45 minutes. The agent tried everything she could, but it still would not open..... I finally had to return the device.
