At first I thought it may be just the disc, but after trying other discs, it is the unit itself. It seems more noticeable on older or used discs. It is almost not noticeable, being one of those things that if you notice it, then it becomes a problem, or annoying. It is not serious, barely noticable at all. Other than that, it is great, especially at the price when on sale.

I noticed that it did not have the emergency eject release button and went back to Best Buy to return on 1/16/25. I was told that I missed the returned date. It has been 2 months now and this LG Supermulti Blade Ultra Slim Portable DVD Writer has completely stopped working. Garbage!!!
