    This unit works OK, but, it does skip in spots. At first I thought it may be just the disc, but after trying other discs, it is the unit itself. It seems more noticeable on older or used discs. It is almost not noticeable, being one of those things that if you notice it, then it becomes a problem, or annoying. It is not serious, barely noticable at all. Other than that, it is great, especially at the price when on sale.

    My Imac did not come with a DVD RW/CD reader. I wanted first to buy an Apple one when I found this one for half the price and it does the job.

    It takes awhile to load and if you’re trying to play a cd you have to download an app that will work the way you want it too.
