Unfortunately, the cyberlink software disk included with the unit cannot be installed to my computer due to fact that this disk was designed for Windows 7/8/10 operating systems(my computer has Windows Vista Home Premium). Any help that you can give to remedy this problem would be much appreciated.

Reached out to LG, who sent a "refurbished" as a replacement. First time upon using the "refurbished" one, the DVD got stuck and won't eject, no matter what I do. I searched other reviews on the LG site, and it seems I'm not the only one.

Will not work with chrome book

I was very surprised when I learned this dvd drive will not work with any chrome platform. Now I can't even return it and the box is not even opened. Be aware And be careful to do your own research before buying accessories or packages Best Buy on line does not provide any help with equipment compatibility issues. But since the stores are closed during the quarantine you may not get the help you may need.
