I've had this for a few months and have had zero problems. Loaded the software fine and had no problem using it. It is very fast and quiet, this is highly recommended

No issues with this drive. We've used it mainly to play DVDs on the home computer (iMac). Have not yet written to it. Plug and play. Very easy to use.

Convenient to carry around for use as it is light and not bulky. Ideal product especially when most small laptop does not come with a DVD drive. Thank you!!

I bought this because my new HP Envy laptop didn't have a cd/dvd drive. It works prefectly. connects to my laptop with no addtional software for it to work. only thing you need to be aware is that you need to check if your laptop can actually support i.e. viewing movies; mine didn't. i had to look for a software program to install on my laptop to be able to see movies. ripping music from cds are ok; no added hassle.

So far, decent but the proof is in time, will it hold up? It's a little flimsy but I've been able to play and burn CDs. Haven't tried the DVD burning yet and if any problems I'll circle back to this review. The price was right though. In all, I can't understand why laptops stopped offering the use of CD/DVD playing and burning and now with Apple, no more USB port ... pretty lame!

My spouse has a new All-in-One computer unit that did not come equipped with an already-equipped disk drive, and she does not like a cluttered desk top, so I settled on this sleek, low profile unit that is barely noticeable but thus far works like a charm. She is as pleased as Punch with this device which so far has done its job very well. It has the generally dependable LG brand name which should mean a lot for a consumer. It does not have the full complement of bells and whistles like some drives but just enough to keep us rolling along and that's all we asked for and needed.

Easy to install. Had it up and running with no problem. Was not expensive. Just wanted to use to do tax return.

I was a little skeptical,wondering if this would do what I wanted.My pc doesn't have a cd drive built in and I needed to print a service manual off of a cd.i bought this and loaded it to my computer and printed no problem .was easy to set up and a piece of cake to work with my pc .I give it 5 stars

After my internal DVD writer died, I needed a new one. This ultraslim model was on sale and works perfectly, burns fast, and is very quiet. Nicely portable.

I have not gotten a chance to use it yet but I made sure I go fits my computer extender. I look forward to watching my dvds on my MacBook.

Exactly what I needed. No program installation needed. Connects through USB on laptop. Plays all my dvd/cds without issue. Make sure you have some sort of media player on your device.

I haven't had to use this drive much yet. But, it has operated great, so far. Device is slim and lightweight so it fits easily into my computer bag and will travel well.

Worked effortlessly with my IMac, plug in and go. Really missed a disc drive since apple stopped putting one in.
