No issues with this drive. We've used it mainly to play DVDs on the home computer (iMac). Have not yet written to it. Plug and play. Very easy to use.

Bought this drive for my macbook. The price was great and it was pretty much plug in and play. It is clearly lightweight, so I wouldn't recommend letting it get dropped or knocked around, but it serves my purposes well.

Looking for an easy plug and play cd burner, this one fit the bill! The sales girl was very helpful in finding the right model for my computer. Very easy to use, no program downloading required. Highly recommend.

I bought this because my new HP Envy laptop didn't have a cd/dvd drive. It works prefectly. connects to my laptop with no addtional software for it to work. only thing you need to be aware is that you need to check if your laptop can actually support i.e. viewing movies; mine didn't. i had to look for a software program to install on my laptop to be able to see movies. ripping music from cds are ok; no added hassle.

Convenient to carry around for use as it is light and not bulky. Ideal product especially when most small laptop does not come with a DVD drive. Thank you!!

Easy to install. Had it up and running with no problem. Was not expensive. Just wanted to use to do tax return.

My spouse has a new All-in-One computer unit that did not come equipped with an already-equipped disk drive, and she does not like a cluttered desk top, so I settled on this sleek, low profile unit that is barely noticeable but thus far works like a charm. She is as pleased as Punch with this device which so far has done its job very well. It has the generally dependable LG brand name which should mean a lot for a consumer. It does not have the full complement of bells and whistles like some drives but just enough to keep us rolling along and that's all we asked for and needed.

As with new laptops, mine did not come with a DVD drive and I needed one for medical CD. This drive bailed me out. Super quiet and light

This was a 'life saver', or at least a 'project saver'. Our older desktop's CD burning capability quit just when we really needed it. This LG product is very functional, it was exactly what we needed to do our project and I'm sure we will use it for more projects in the future. It is easy to set up and use. I'm sure it has way more uses than our immediate one and I'm looking forward to expanding our use of it. Worth the price.

After my internal DVD writer died, I needed a new one. This ultraslim model was on sale and works perfectly, burns fast, and is very quiet. Nicely portable.
