Nice and compact, take it anywhere. No need for an ac adapter which makes it even more portable as its powered thru it's USB connection with the computer.

I always had a computer with the cd/dvd drive built it so this is new for me but so far I've had no problems and is kinda cool to have it separate and to pack it away when not needed

I love my choice. In enables me to work efficiently in my classes. It helps me cut the time that I spend in the Labs at college. I am able to complete and prefect my assignments with ease. I think I made a great choice with this purchase.

Bought this external DVD/R Drive because my laptop does not have any. It is working well and I could even watch or open other files from CDs which I couldn't do from my old external drive. Good value and seems durable.

This External DVD drive works perfectly for what I needed. A lot of the newer laptops don’t have a DVD drive and I needed to install some software.

I bought this because I like to burn photo cd's to music occasionally. This product has met our needs. Not as handy as the ones built into the units but since they are going by the wayside this is an acceptable option. Unit works well just a little clumsy to operate.

This was very easy to use, just plug in and go and was just what I was looking for. There was no problem loading or ejecting the disc. I have not found any negatives about the drive. I am very happy with my purchase.

This external CD/DVD external hard drive is easy to use slick in appearance and very helpful as my laptop does not have the ability to play DVDs or CDs. I'm enjoying the music in the movies thanks to this product.

This DVDs, CD player does the trick. I wanted a low cost player that would play my cd, dvd's, on my Mac and PC. It's speed is great, plug and play is simple and I would recommend this product for that purpose.

Bought this drive instead of the Apple superdrive because Best Buy was temporarily out of stock. I would definitely recommend this drive for anyone who is looking at the Superdrive.

When your laptop does not have a CD reader in it, an external is necessary. This one is easy to use and durable. No problems. Good quality. Good price.

i bought 2 of portable dvd readers , both seem to serve my purpose- straight forward - reads my discs without any issues the only thing i m not happy about is the eject process is only through the computer and not on the device

This device is awesome for when your work laptop is without a wifi connection and you're forced to use a DVD player as an alternative form of viewing media. It's a great back up.
