Same exact unit Apple sells on the side for its Mac desktops. Does everything the Apple device can do and it's slightly cheaper. Solid purchase if you need one

Bought this drive to play DVD's on my all in one computer. Delivered quickly and plugged it in and it works great right out of the box. Very quiet and little heat. Very happy with this buy.

First, I could not believe how "small" this external drive is. Not much bigger than a Hard Drive. Not bulky at all. Performance is smooth and easy. I would buy this external drive again, multiple times.

I needed an extra drive for my CD/DVDs on my iMac. This was suggested to me by a Best Buy employee and it works great. I just plugged it in to the iMac and it worked.

I would definitely recommend LG external CD-ROM to everyone whose laptop does not have any. It is a very good quality together with a very nice design and works perfectly.

I purchased this because it didn't have a tray that popped out. My last player broke and that was the culprit. So I made a decision to pay the ten additional dollars to by this one so I wouldn't have to go through that again.

Works exactly as advertised. I'm a proponent of physical media and having the ability to rip my cd's to my own specifications is wonderful, because I hate digital downloads. The quality is just not there.

This is such a great product. I've already burned multiple DVDs and it works flawlessly. I bought one of the new iMacs which didn't have any disc drive and it looks great with it, and works really well.

I needed an external DVD/CD drive for my laptop and this drive fills the need. It quickly downloaded photos to a CD and video to a DVD. It was easy to connect and start using immediately.

This is an inexpensive DVD±RW/CD-RW drive. It is by no means the fastest drive, indeed sometimes I got a bit frustrated with the amount of time transferring files. I was also frustrated by the fact that it kept disappearing from Finder on MacBook Air and it could take as long as ten minutes to get it recognized again (fwiw, other external drives I have attached to the same laptop are typically recognized in seconds but a minute at the longest). On the plus side, it is a very nice looking, lightweight piece of equipment. As my summary said, it was an inexpensive way to accomplish the limited amount of use that I bought it for.

It performed as needed. Price was too much but that was the only one you had in stock in the store.

My computers DVD drive was becoming unreliable so I looked for an affordable replacement and this was it. The drive is quiet and very fast. I also appreciate how light and small it is. I've recommended it to 6 people so far.

Works well. It’s a bit annoying that I have to buy an external unit like this since most laptops don’t have a built in version these days, but this thing makes it so I can watch DVDs on my laptop, and read the cds that have files I need to work with for work related things, so that’s a plus. Sometimes it fees a little thin in the casing, and I am worried I might break it or damage it while inserting the cds/dvds, but so far it’s been fine.

I am very much satisfied with this product and its design. It reads the disc fast and is available at an affordable price. It is operating as expected, handy and can be easily plugged in.
