Works as advertised. Interfaces with my equipment and plays both DVD an CDs without problems.

I purchased this for my Microsoft Surface computer. It's very nice - works well. Great speed. Exactly what I expected. Picked it up for a good sale price. I'm very satisfied with it. I'd highly recommend it.

I purchased a new computer that did not have an internal CD ROM so I purchased this external CD reader/writer. This device is working very well and meets my needs.

It was easy to set up and use. No problem reading the CD's and DVD's I had and no problem with using all the other different kinds of writable CD's I've had over the years.

Works well with a 2019 iMac. The slide in/out can be a problem with a cd that has a sticker around the middle (the reason for not 5 stars).

We have only had this device for a little over a month but we have used it and it seems to not only work but be user friendly. Easy to install and easy to use.

my desktop disk drive died, so i decided on an external drive. it worked as a plug and play, so no need to configure anything. worked as expected.

Picked it up same day as purchased and used it the next day. I miss worked great. I did not have any issues getting it going.

I bought this along with my new Mac Book Pro instead of the Apple unit. It was at least half the price and works just as well as the Apple product. I would highly recommend this alternative to high priced Apple units.

Seems to be working fine. BUT, no available information on how to install it, if it has to be installed. Nothing in the App Store, no instructions, and what little I could find on YouTube always displayed it being hooked up to a lap top, not and iMac OS Desktop. Manufacturers need to remember not all of us know how to do all things computer. Put some instructions in or on the box.

I was very impressed with the LG External Double Layer SuperMulti Blade Drive. It connects to my HP Envy and my Macbook Pro. I have not had any issues. Very satisfied!

I've not experienced any of LG's products that aren't excellent, and this is just another example of that/ It plays my DVD's and CD's, and eventually I'll get around to testing its ability to also record my saved music to some of the blank DVD's I have somewhere in the garage. All around, it exceeds expectations and was an excellent buy!

This external drive was on special with the purchase of a laptop. Even though I have only used it a few times, I already like it more than my old laptops disc drive, but time will tell.

I was not sure what I was getting when I bought this to use with my HP ENVY but I needed a drive to load from and to download to from my laptop. I made a great choice.

Wife needed this for her computer because it didn't come with one, and is happy with the speed and quality of picture

My new Mac doesn't have an internal DVD drive, this one works well.
