Worked Great Until it didn't....

I don't use it too much, but i just think it is a bit to early for the equipment to be faulty. I contacted best buy, will update once I have an answer. I understand the store has nothing to do with this, LG might not be the best for computer parts or external attachments.

choice I do not regret

I thought I would be able to put dvd/cd into it and watch/listen on my computer. However, that is not the case. It is my fault for not knowing EXACTLY what I was looking for, and for trusting in an employee that was clearly not into really investing his time and energy into helping me. He didn't take the time to listen to what I really wanted and just reassured me that this item WAS what I was stating I needed. It has come in handy but not what I wanted.

Solid External DVD Drive

None of my laptops have a built in DVD/CD drive, so had to get one. It's too bad that technology hasn't improved more than this. It works and gets the job done, but could be faster. Catch it on price and it could be a pretty good deal. Pay retail, and...not so much.
