Capable Unit

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really am no fan of Windows, and getting my tried and true programs transferred from the old Dell computer has proven to be a challenge. The Geek Squad was no help because they have been bought off by Microsoft. So if your a big make Microsoft richer type you'll have no problems.

LG CD/DVD Burner

Does have trial 30 day software for playing dvd but not great. Otherwise nice to copy cds but no luck with copying dvds without software. It does the job. Also it's a bit delayed when putting cds and grabbing them. Does make some noise so don't expect quiet burning.

A much needed DVD/CD burner.

This device being double-layered is an added plus. The only gripe is that the usb wire isn't long enough (had to buy a usb extension wire).
