Works well and great price. To bad iMacs no longer include a CD/DVD.

I purchase this item on June 2022 and around March 2023 it stopped working and I had to go to Best Buy for them to get the dvd out of the player. I wouldn't recommend this LG External USB 2.0 Double Layer DVD RW/Ram/ CD-RW Drive because the equipment stopped working. I was shipped a new DVD player after contacting LG. But, I haven't used the new device yet. It is still in the box.

Well it is totally worth it, now I have my past 7 years memory in external drive and no worries for computer crashes

Its a good product that would allow you to transfer music into your computer. Bad thing about it, its a bit slow so it takes time to transfer.

I love this. It works great. I was able to run a CD and play it. It came very quickly. I love Best Buy and especially their geek squad.

No issues until today , I’m able to record and play music from CDs on my Laptop. It’s come with recording software “ not free” but with MS Windows you don’t have to use any Recording software. No drivers needed!

Had a problem loading my Hallmark Card Program. It would not recognize the 2nd disc. still need to uninstall and reinstall.

bought this item to replace a non-functioning drive in my computer. Now I can play DVDs and CD discs again. And burn CDs. It works as advertised. Very easy to install. No problems. I would recommend this item to anyone needing an external DVD- CD drive.

This is a great little external hard drive. I mainly purchased it for storing all my thousands of photos, and music files. It is a fantastic investment, just in case your computer goes down, then you won't lose irreplaceable photos.

Needed an external DVD Reader since most of the desktop now doesn't come with an Optical Drive anymore. I like having the option to still use physical media.

Worls great and can burn cds for the car with my laptop, finally!

WORKS great, gets the job done right, and comes with software that i like (which you can also pay to upgrade to a newer pro model online)
