Not sure why others think this thing is durable

But sometime in between the last time I used it to install a game (over the summer) and September (when I was going to start using it with my new PC to watch movies) it stopped functioning full stop. I've tried everything - cleaning, etc. All I get is loud stuttering disc motion and a 'disc read error' message. I only had it a bit over a year when it starting giving me errors! Save your money.

doesn't work connect with TV

I did work with my computer though but not as a plug and play.. quite a process.
