    Purchased this due to my MacBook Air doesn't have an internal drive for CD's. Also purchased a new vehicle that caused me too have to convert my music CD's to USB data storage flash drives and it works great so far.

    This is the second time I have puchased this drive. Good experience so far, so when I got another laptop, I needed another external drive for data saving and viewing dvds. Great choice and I will buy it again, if needed.

    I got this cause most modern laptops don’t come with an optical drive. I had stored some stuff on CDs and DVDs a while back, and still have old programs on disc that I wanted to run. Does job ok.
