Terrible Customer Svc, Faulty Unit, Small Opening

It is supposed to be a SteamDryer, but two separate install teams confirmed that the unit we received does NOT have a connection for the water line. The first installer broke our cold water valve by turning it the wrong way. That required a sizable plumber's bill and countless hours in the Best Buy claims process, resulting in a very small portion being paid out. We also went 3 weeks without being able to dry our laundry at home. Ultimately, it was a very pricey "free" dryer. It does a good job drying, but the door, for as large as it is, reveals a fairly small opening. We do not have space for the risers, and I find it hard to get all of the clothes out. Wish I could have a do-over on this process. But some other appliance company will benefit from our future purchases.

I would like the water connection. I am not please that I have to fill the reservoir every time I need steam.

Trouble Less in Less Than 2 Weeks

I called LG and after a lot of questions and possible solutions that didn't work, they told me they would send them out. After 3 days with no contact, I called back. They said they had 5 days to get someone out and then my order would be "escalated." After 5 days I called back and my order was "escalated and I was told they have 3 business days (it's a holiday weekend) to find someone and they other possible solutions would be discussed. So, after spending a lot of money on this dryer, I can't use it. I will update after a resolution.

I have complained to Customer support, but they are not able to schedule a geek squad visit to troubleshoot (I have Geek Squad annual membership as well).

Horrible dryer

The pre settings don't dry anything. Only reason I got this dryer was till my matching dryer to my washer comes available.

Damaged machine, bent front panel.

Very disappointed.

Works Great, NOT quiet

We put several loads through in the few days we had it. It dries well. This dryer's primary downfall is how loud it is. At this price point it should be much quieter, the competition is. With small to medium size loads that are all soft material (i.e. no buttons, buckles, zippers, etc...) it is reasonably quite. Anything hard and it is quite loud. It's almost as if it doesn't have any sound deadening material. Vibrations are well isolated from the floor. It's other downfall is build quality. The door seems very cheap and plasticy. Another disappointment at this price point. If your laundry room is not near your living space like in a basement, I would highly recommend this dryer. If near your living space, like in our house, I wouldn't recommend. We returned for the next level up, 9000 series.
