The LG dryer is awesome..highly recommend. The size of the dryer can easily fit a king size comforter with no problems. Well worth the investment.

I cannot understand why the LG appliances get such high reviews! I bought this washer/dryer set 7 years ago. The motherboard on the washer died at 6 years and 2 months and LG (as well as Samsung, foreign manufacturers) by US law do not have to make parts for these machines after 4-6 years. I trashed my washer due to no part available anywhere in the entire US. For the last 2 years my dryer hasn't been drying a heavy load of laundry (2 blankets) in less than 2.5-3.5 hours. I finally called a repairman who said the controller is dead and irreplaceable (and even if it was replaceable, the part alone is $500) so my dryer is trash. I know that appliances don't last 20 years anymore but at the time, I paid over $2500 for the set and I expected a little better than I got. My incredibly honest repairman told me that LG and Samsung are great tech manufacturers but don't buy their appliances. I'm taking his advice today as I purchase a new dryer. BTW, my Whirlpool top load washer with removeable agitator is awesome. My clothes have been cleaner with this Whirlpool than they ever got with my LG! Looking for a new dryer this weekend. Also, I'm cancelling my Consumer Reports subscription after many years. Shame on them for not exposing the parts availability issues. American manufactured appliances by law must manufacture parts for 10 years!

I called the store, and also spoke to Geek squad and to LG itself to verify the dryer drum was Stainless steel to match my new LG washer since online the specs said it was aluminum alloy coated steel, with a SS rear wall. All three assured me it was a SS drum. The dryer was delivered and guess what IT IS NOT STAINLESS STEEL. I don't want this!!!! I need to have it picked up. I am now regretting also ordering a new LG range from BB.

Only had it 3 years. I’ve had appliance repair come out three times already. I continuously get dryer D80 airflow errors even though it’s all clean and sensors have been replaced. Now it doesn’t even turn on. I spent $1100 on a dryer that has only lasted 36 months. Additionally, when it used to work, the automatic drying sensing never seemed to work. I constantly had to keep throwing it back in to dry because the clothes was still wet.

Worked well until it didn't . Now the unit will not power on. Customer service was not helpful. I have googled everything I can and have come up with nothing.
