Naturally we needed a dvd player. This one does just what it is supposed to and is easy to operate.

Good starting out but defective

The reason for the three stars is 6 weeks in and the player is starting to act wonky. When I pause a DVD, after about two or three minutes, the player starts to spin the disc as though its going to fly off of the table. Neither the play nor stop button works and I have to shut the player completely off. Then when I restart the player, it doesn't start at the scene where it left off. Apparently it is past the 15 day return window so I'm stuck with a defective machine. This is my last electronic purchase from Best Buy.
