    DVD got horrible picture quality. On 55'' TV dvd movie looked like being played on VHS player.

    couldn't get it to work

    hooked everything up and pressed the play button and nothing happened. Checked the connections. Left us frustrated. This should have been easy. We hooked up our new tv with no problems and that is a more complex job.

    I returned this DVD player. It was of poor quality and did not work. Picture only came out in black and white with purple lines running through. Probably a lemon.

    Hang on to the remote...don't run out of batteries....basically do not hand it to a child, ever, because without the remote the thing will not do anything beside open and stop. Worst designed machine ever.

    very poor quality, flimsy case, cd tray would not open fully, made grinding noise when opening, would not fully close. returned for refund, surprised that best buy would market such a low quality device.

    No directions for remote control setup. There's no picture being sent to tv, so now must call in for help. Never had issue with any other brands.

    After 60 minutes the DVD PLAYER stops working. We tried various movies and it happens every time. Going to be returning the product this week

    Picked up at the store, box was damaged. I should have checked it earlier. No remote, DVD player doesn’t function without a remote. return window is closed. Pretty bummed

    When I got home and opened the bold the DVD player was cracked and the front face was loose . It might just have been my luck . I can’t rate the item because I have. It been able to use I need to return it .

    Unfortunately this unit wasn't the correct one for my needs and didn't work properly even after the Geek Squad worked on it. I returned the item for a different one that worked.

    This DVD player is very out of date. I would recommend you spend a bit more and get a Blu-ray player for better quality.

    GREAT DVD Player

    I am not tech savvy, and just wanted a simple dvd player to replace my old one, and that would connect to my old SONY t-v, which is about 20 years old and still going strong! My t-v is obviously not a Smart t-v, and is not even an HD one. At any rate, I bought this and was able to connect it to my t-v easily (in just a couple of minutes) and set it up with no problem. Easy! Next I played a dvd and it looked great and I was thrilled. So, I wasn't looking for all the bells and whistles, and I know that this dvd player can do more than I just used it for, but I have not used the other functions and probably never will. It serves my purposes, takes up much less space than my old dvd player, and is a great price at Best Buy - and I do shop around. They have the best price of the places I checked out. Highly recommend!

    Defective. Didn’t work on any of my discs. I got a 70$ Sony. Works a lot better and better quality. Don’t go cheap.
