When connected to the TV it was in black and white only!! Do not purchase this item! Best Buy wouldn't honor our return because it was past the 15 days, but the thing doesn't even work correctly. Left it on their counter.

If it plays a movie it screeches,grinds, skips, freezes, or won't play at all. I had a LG TV, lasted 10 years, never had a problem. I'm on my 3rd LG cell phone (no problems just upgraded) that's why I chose this LG dvd player. I'm on a fixed income so the price was right. What a waste of money!
