The user interface was so buggy that I never got any glow to using this phone. I upgraded to the LG V60 Dual Screen. Glad I switched. I remain an LG fan, however I would not purchase the LG-G8X again.

Bought this phone because I was infatuated with the idea of dual screen functionality. Found out that this functionality is still too early to be reliable. The phone would suddenly jump screens for no reason. The dual screen technology is still too early in its infancy to make this any more than a gimmick. Do not buy! If you want dual screen functionality, wait another generation or two when the apps and user interfaces have had time to catch up.

This was supposed to be an open box in excellent condition which is supposed to include all of the accessories to go with it. The only thing I received in the Box was a phone and after-market charger. It was supposed to be a dual screen but the second screen was missing. It was not as advertised.

My previous phone was the LG - V20 (lasted me 4 years). I definitely needed a new phone, so as with every large purchase, I searched thoroughly and chose the LG - G8X ThinQ Dual Screen with 128GB. I made the right decision.
PROS:
One of the main reasons for my choice was that LG kept the manual video feature that allows the user to manually adjust the gain, low cut filter, and limiter. I'm a musician, so this is useful for recording my rehearsals, and performances
The dual-screen comes in handy. However, I primarily use it as a phone case and to place the keyboard on the main screen (on bottom) while viewing the text on the second (on top). I'm sure I will use if more often as more apps support the dual-screen feature.
All cameras on the phone are incredible. I look forward to discovering all the features on the phone including the ASMR feature.
I highly recommend this phone to anyone involved in the art–musicians, photographers, videographers, vloggers, etc.
CONS:
If the dual-screen, in manual video mode, could be used as a monitor as it can in the normal video and selfie modes, that would be awesome.
This phone (outside of the dual-screen case) is EXTREMELY slippery. I do not recommend handling the phone without a case. It can be easily dropped and it can slide off of ANY surface with the slightest angle.
The fingerprint lock is disappointing and often frustrating. It worked flawlessly on the V20, however.
I also wish that the dual-screen had a removable protector for the rear camera.

This has 3 screens but only two work, the first screen tells the time and date but thats it. Once the phone is open you have two screens to work on but only one can be on the internet which that doesn't make any sense all in all it was not worth over a 1,000 dollars . I've only on it 25 days and wish i could get a refund.

Disappointed in this phone. Shuts off on me all the time. When it is in the dual screen case the chat pad goes away all the time causing you to click on things you don't want to click on. Back of phone has a ton of cracks and I generally take great care of my phones.

I'm sure it's a great phone but it said it was comparable with Boost Mobile and it wasn't. I had to return for a refund. They wanted to charge me restocking fee but I told them I wouldn't have bought it if it didn't say it would work with Boost
