I didn't buy this as a phone, in fact, I doubt I'll ever stick an actual sim in it.
For me, this is the greatest educational tool I've ever come across. One screen for video lectures, one for doing my own research or testing out code. Quick response times for everything I've done with it so far. Can't see much difference in screen quality between it and my note 10+, although LG could have done more to sychronise the two screens color settings, the add on screen tends to seem a bit brighter&whiter. I honestly cannot think of any device that's better for online learning, though I really wouldn't want to have to make or accept phone calls on it. If I had to zoom or anything I'd use it for that, too.

Coming from galaxy line for year figured would try LG. Big mistake, they are still learning how to make good phones, it easily scratches, is super super slippery which is a terrible design. I also have lots of troubles getting a good signal and have trouble connecting devices to this vs my old samsung. I like the dual screen hybrid, just need to fix some small things to make this a great device.

NO wifi calling

LG G8X on Sprint was ok..However since T-mobile took over the G8X has NO volte or wifi calling enabled.
LG "needs" to unlock the bootloader on these units so customers can use the actual features on t-mobile. Or T-mobile needs to update the sprint G8X firmware .. Shame on you LG-T-mobile.
