This is a great microwave. Some people don't like the melody, I guess beeping is music to their ears. Lost a star because 90% if the controls are inside the door. It's a trade-off for the clean/sleek appearance.

Great microwave! Works like it should with plenty of settings for several things like sensor cook, reheat, etc. Very well made and a quality product.

Simple and gets the job done. Looks great. The only annoyance are that the end of job chime is a bit annoying, and that every time there is a power failure, the clock needs to be reprogrammed.

It is excellent... we like the looks as well as how it operates. It is very functional, slightly different for timing the heating of food but after using the microwave, we like the system.

It's not your typical microwave, it's better. Design inside and out is great, it makes pleasant sounds when your food is done, not the typical "beep." 2 negatives; the stainless steel on ours shows every finger print and I wish the exterior controls lit up.

Excellent microwave! Glad I bought this item. Instead of a beep when cooking done you hear a little tune, so much nicer!

Had it for a couple of months now and has been very user friendly, Sensors control the power for nicely cooking and warming. I just push the sensor reheat, close the door and hit start, for everything. Nice soft chimes at the half cook time and when complete.

Heat’s well, convenient size, but I do not like the sliding scale to set the heating time. Too late to take back.

Bought the LG based on consumer reports reviews. Not thrilled with the sensor reheat options or the time required to cook food but the heating is even, the interior space is generous and the exterior is easy to clean and sleek looking.

Purchased as a gift for my mother n law. Leaps and bounds better quality than anything she has ever had before...and much nicer looking too! LG makes great appliances, and when I buy my own home...all appliances will be LG or Kitchenaide.

This microwave takes a little bit to get used to since there is no numeric pad for the time. It is based on using sensor settings for different types of foods. We did have an issue using the beverage sensor that wouldn't shut off and was boiling the beverage out of the cup. The other sensor settings seem to work OK but watch when using to reheat a dinner plate as it can overheat it. I do miss the numeric pad for heating some of my foods; however you can either use the slide bar for the time or keep hitting the +30 seconds button until you get to your desired time. So far everything is still working well.

Our new home didn't have a built-in microwave, so we went with this model. It's been great so far, and blends in well with our other stainless appliances. The design took a little getting used to, but I love the hidden keypad now. It's so much sleeker.

If I could back in time and get a different microwave, I probably would. The heating of food is very rapid and even, but the user interface is just awful. The controls being inside seemed like a cool idea, but in the end, it is really impractical. One-third of the time the touch sensitivity is wonky on those interior controls, as well. There is a rudimentary set of controls on the outside as well, but they are also not terribly useful. And then there's the pleasant little tune, as mentioned in other reviews. I liked it the first time, but when you hear it every 30 seconds as a reminder, it quickly becomes what is most likely played on repeat in the deepest regions of hades. After a search, I found you can turn it off, but that hack also turns off all of the sounds, and that just doesn't work well when the touch controls are not always responsive. Overall, I can't knock how it cooks, that is exceptional, Five Stars, but the ease of use just isn't there.

This is a nice microwave. it is relatively quiet and cooks food evenly. Also looks quite nice on the counter

It’s extremely lightweight and tips easily. Other than that I absolutely love it. It’s quiet, very user friendly.

good size, sensor cook takes a bit to get used to, it's either over done or not done enough. wish the dinger sound could be changed but no... dogs bark at the musical doorbell sound.
